The CLA: An Overview

• promotes language learning by running courses for students in all University faculties;
• has self-access centers where expert language advisors can assist students with their studies;
• encourages the development and use of new language-learning technology by using it both in the classroom and in self-study;
• signs national and international project agreements and conventions that promote effective and innovative language teaching;
• assists and supports the development of professional training courses, and provides consultancy services for schools, public bodies and businesses;
• runs Italian L2 courses and promotes the Italian language abroad with exchange programs and internships;
• runs a translation and revision service for the University administration (contracts, conventions, agreements, websites etc.), the departments (specialized texts, books and publications) and for organizations, businesses and private bodies.
